Custom LASIK

A new and more advanced LASIK procedure has been approved by the FDA - one that enables surgeons to customize the procedure to the specific needs of your eye. This medical and technological advance is called Custom LASIK.

Custom LASIK is much the same as regular laser vision correction, except it is customized to yield a treatment specific to the unique deficiencies of your eyes. A device is used called a "Wavefront Analyzer," which makes a digital map of the eye. The map displays the light-reflectivity and contours of the cornea. The wavefront analyzer is then interfaced with the laser. The laser operates in accordance with the map, correcting deficiencies of the eye. The result is a near perfect LASIK procedure!
